Fashion's Night Out Announces Global Dates

Fashion's Night Out 2012 is back and better than ever. Last year, FNO was held in eighteen countries with more than 4,500 events in the U.S. alone. This year, the retail bash is expanding to all 19 Vogue-endorsed territories. The U.S., the U.K. France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, Mexico, Australia and Korea will host the premiere shopping event on September 6; India, China, Germany, and Russia on September 7; Japan and Taiwan on September 8; Brazil on September 10 and 12; Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and The Netherlands on September 13; Italy on September 18; and Greece on September 20 and 25.

Wool In The City: Woolmark International and WWD's Latest Market Report, Decoded!

A conglomerate of suited gents (and business-minded ladies) from Australia and beyond gathered at the Millennium Broadway Hotel yesterday for the 2012 Fashion + Retail Market Report, hosted by The Woolmark Company and WWD. The goal of the early morning panel discussion, avec guest speakers Christian Siriano, Rachel Roy, Linda Fargo, Fairchild Fashion Media's CRO Will Schenck, and MediaCom's CSP Chris Pyne, was to provide fashion-related business folks an insight into the blueprint of the U.S. retail market and to highlight future market opportunities.
