CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Michael Bastian has collaborated with Barneys on a fully outfitted suit collection. The line will feature slim, modern tailoring ideal for an emerging market of young professionals who want to avoid an “anonymous baggy ‘going to work’ suit.” Pieces, available online and in Barneys stores, will be priced 20 percent lower than Bastian’s namesake line. Members to the site choose the experts—spanning fields from fashion to design to food to fitness and including Julianne Moore, Carolyn Murphy, Lori Goldstein, and more—that most appeal to them, and can then shop items said experts curate for the site.
