Fashion's Night Out Announces Global Dates

Fashion's Night Out 2012 is back and better than ever. Last year, FNO was held in eighteen countries with more than 4,500 events in the U.S. alone. This year, the retail bash is expanding to all 19 Vogue-endorsed territories. The U.S., the U.K. France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, Mexico, Australia and Korea will host the premiere shopping event on September 6; India, China, Germany, and Russia on September 7; Japan and Taiwan on September 8; Brazil on September 10 and 12; Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and The Netherlands on September 13; Italy on September 18; and Greece on September 20 and 25.

Alessandro Benetton Takes Over Benetton Group

Get ready for a new era at Benetton Group. During a press conference held at Villa Minelli, the company's sprawling headquarters in Ponzano Veneto, Italy, executive vice chairman Alessandro Benetton officially inherited the 47-year-old company from his father Luciano, co-founder and chairman. Alessandro is charged with revamping and relaunching the Italian fashion conglomerate, which posted a 28 percent drop in net profits in 2011.
