Topshop mark 10 years of NEWGEN sponsorship with designer charity T-shirt range

To celebrate 10 years of sponsoring emerging designers at London Fashion Week, Topshop have invited their NEWGEN alumni back to design a capsule T-shirt collection for Centrepoint.

The new Louis Vuitton/Marc Jacobs book is not due out until April (in conjunction with the exhibit opening at Les Arts Décoratifs in Paris), but Hintmag.com got a sneak peak at some of the images in the tome. The book also includes essays by fashion historians and editors. [Hint]

Freja Beha Erichsen is now available in cross-stitch. The model is the star of Scandinavian jeweler Georg Jensen’s new ad campaign, which Jensen commissioned cross-stitch artist Inge Jacobsen to make. The eight images took an estimated 2,000 hours to produce. [Telegraph]

Giorgio Armani has signed on to design and furnish apartments for the World Towers residential complex, set to be unveiled in 2012, in Mumbai. The upscale complex (complete with custom Armani Casa furniture) will reportedly include a 117-story skyscraper, making it the largest residential tower in the world. [WWD]

Before the Princess Diana exhibition, featuring 28 of her famous dresses, goes on display at Kensington Palace in March, it will first make a stop at the Mall of America in Minnesota. The exhibition opens tomorrow. [Vogue U.K.]

Embassies and cultural institutions in London will play host to their respective country’s designers, and on February 19, the BFC will announce the winner. [WWD]

Lane’s Trifecta

For its latest Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott-lensed campaign, Lane Crawford cast another group of Asian models. This time around, the retailer tapped a Chinese trio: actress Li Bingbing, Chinese It girl Chen Ran, and model Sui He, to show off the latest pieces from brands like Azzedine Alaïa, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, and Balenciaga. The campaign, styled by Panos Yiapanis (who has done editorials for the likes of Another Man and VMan and worked with photographers like Nick Knight and Steven Klein), was shot in London back in November.
