Carine’s Calendar Girls

Carine Roitfeld stuck to using “real people” (as opposed to models) for her guest-edited issue of Vman, due out February 14. The exception: the bonus pinup girl calendar, shot by Willy Vandeperre, featuring “supermodels and Victoria’s Secret Angels, 12 of the planet’s most celebrated creatures.” Roitfeld dressed the girls, including Joan Smalls, Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, and Karolina Kurkova, in an assortment of Victoria’s Secret lingerie and customized pink American Apparel jackets. Style.com has the exclusive first look at the full calendar.

Who Doesn’t Love A Two-For-One Deal?

With Valentine’s Day approaching, we’ve been reflecting on our favorite fashion couples. Because when it comes to dressing, a pair of style aces is always better than one. Naturally, power duos like Brangelina or Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom made the cut; those genetic jackpot winners could make even burlap sacks look good. Still, you won’t find most of our matchups in the pages of Us Weekly. Model sweethearts Sheila Marquez and Christian Brylle look like they share a single closet. And we love Leelee Sobieski in a suit of her husband Adam Kimmel’s design.

Going Hollywood

On what's shaping up to be one of awards season's busiest weekends, W partnered with Dom Pérignon last night to host a high-wattage party of its own at the Chateau Marmont. The event celebrated the magazine's Best Performances issue, and editor in chief
Stefano Tonchi was eager to pay credit to his longtime collaborator, Lynn Hirschberg. "She sees hundreds of movies starting at Cannes, and she selects those performances that she thinks will define a career and the movies that she thinks will define this time of the year," he told Style.com.

Miranda Kerr For Bally Spring ‘12

Miranda Kerr and puppies: Who could resist either of those? Not Bally—the label enlisted the Victoria’s Secret Angel, along with Julia Stegner, Cedric Bihr, Robert Konjic, and a pack of adorable pups, to star in its Spring ‘12 ad campaign, shot by Norman Jean Roy. The photos, taken at Gstaad Palace Hotel in Switzerland’s Bernese heartland, tout Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler’s leather shoes, handbags, and ready-to-wear pieces, many of them inspired by the label’s rich archives. Here, a new behind-the-scenes video taken during the shoot.

Tequila Shots, All Around

In the onslaught of fashion hype and fancy-dress events that characterizes awards season in Hollywood, red-carpet fatigue is all but inevitable. Happily, T magazine's Golden Globes dinner party Wednesday night—a low-key affair without the usual arrivals gauntlet of popping flashbulbs or clipboard-wielding harpies—offered a welcome antidote.
