Marilyn Monroe Files at Blue Book Model Agency Recovered

The files of the Blue Book Agency, Marilyn's first model agency in Los Angeles, recovered in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Miss Emmeline Snively, founder of the agency in 1939, discovered Marilyn Monroe (then Norma Jean Dougherty) in 1945 as a model. The files go all the way back from 1945 until 1969, the year that, as Miss Snively mentioned in a interview, "She put it away forever".<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Fashion's Night Out Announces Global Dates

Fashion's Night Out 2012 is back and better than ever. Last year, FNO was held in eighteen countries with more than 4,500 events in the U.S. alone. This year, the retail bash is expanding to all 19 Vogue-endorsed territories. The U.S., the U.K. France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, Mexico, Australia and Korea will host the premiere shopping event on September 6; India, China, Germany, and Russia on September 7; Japan and Taiwan on September 8; Brazil on September 10 and 12; Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and The Netherlands on September 13; Italy on September 18; and Greece on September 20 and 25.
